Visitation

visitation3

We can expect a God encounter to show up at any time or place in our lives. Suddenly, the air around me became filled with electricity; I knew that there was an awesome presence. It came ever so close to me, yet I had the feeling I could accept this moment or ignore it completely. Somehow, it drew me into a whole new experience, and I liked it. It filled me with the joy and love that I had forgotten.

All the stress was finally leaving me It was really nice, and I wanted more. The light was encompassing my body,  as if it went right through me, into the inner chambers of my heart. All those terrible things from years past transformed to a love that consumed every fiber of my being.

I didn’t want this to ever go away. I became a new person, totally renewed. In the past, I was so critical of everything and the people around me were so irritating. I finally realized they were trying to help me. To believe I keep pushing them out of my life, wow! This visitation of God left me wanting more. I pulled out the old book to learn more about my experience.

Jesus wants to become as real as that moment. He brings lasting change into reality. Jesus desires to direct us closer to that predestine goal we have been given from the foundations of the world. Many times we ignorantly go about life, seemingly, and then God shows up! We are consumed by His presence, never to be the same. It is God’s desire to walk closer with us. The Spirit of the Lord desires to overtake us at any moment. God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives.
